Managing a remote workforce requires a structured and planned approach, adapting many of the current management principles so they work at a distance, across many disciplines from, service engineers and consultants to sales teams and tele-workers. Increasingly staff are working away from the conventional office. Whether they are working at home, on the road, with clients/business partner organisations or simply working across multiple organisational locations, this poses new challenges for managers and new risks for organisations.
This workshop will examine the options available, benefits to be achieved, and the pitfalls to be aware of, in deciding on the right approach to achieve a highly effective, successful and productive remote workforce.
