Lindsay’s background started in Hotel & Catering Management, where the completion of an HND in Hotel and Catering Management was the prelude to 15 years operational management experience in 3 and 4 star hotels, culmulating in a head office position of Group Training Manager of a £100 million business.

Training and Education now being a passion, Lindsay spent 12 years working at Henley College as a Senior Lecturer. The time spent here also included an 18 month spell seconded to Warwick University (Department of Continuing Education) and 3 years teaching on and main liaison with Coventry University’s/Henley College’s Management Education Programme.

The last 11 years Lindsay has been Managing Director of The Lindsay Judge Connection Ltd.

“Who Cares Wins” – A copyright protected Customer Care Programme written for the Hospitality Industry.

Management Techniques by Distance Learning – A set of six distance learning packages covering Motivation, Decision Making, Leadership and Management Styles.

Executive Producer and initial scriptwriter for the video film “First Service”, a 12 minute customer care video available through major training video stockists.

BII – Catering Management Certificate – Updating & re-writing of this national programme of training for the British Institute of Inn keeping.
BII - Door Supervisors National Certificate Course and Handbook – This is the output from time spent seconded to the Home Office and the National Licensing Forum.

Writer & Presenter of over 30 x 30 minute TV programmes for the then ‘new’ Pub Channel for British Sky TV, covering all areas of licensed premises management & operation.

This is merely a selection of the courses and publications written by Lindsay Judge; the total now numbers over 40 courses and 8 publications.

Overseas Developments

Lindsay has been involved in the negotiations, product development and course facilitation with several client groups for a variety of courses, consultancy and learning materials in a number of different countries, namely:
Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Turkey and the USA.

Other Notable Achievements

Seconded to Skills UK in the position of Catering, Accommodation and Hospitality Manager for the UK’s hosting of the 1989 International Youth Skills Olympics held at the National Exhibition Centre during August and September 1989. Duties included arranging accommodation and hospitality for 550 competitors and approx 4,000 officials and spectators arriving from 21 different countries.
