Using five separate adult abuse scenarios and utilising the skills of six equity registered actors and very experienced facilitators, this interactive training day aims to raise awareness of adult protection issues on a multi-agency basis through the use of interactive theatre and group discussions.

Through the five separate “mini-plays” we introduce the participants to the reality of all areas of possible abuse, namely; physical, emotional (psychological), sexual, financial, neglect and discriminatory. Time is allocated between each of these plays for the facilitators to explore, with the participants, the case and possible outcomes.

With this particular type of workshop we are able to offer up to 90 places at a time, making it a very cost effective way of training what is usually a very difficult subject to tackle through traditional training styles.
